"Pair Of Vases Porcelain Empire"
Nice pair of vases golden porcelain and decorated with a very graceful and rare panoramic scene composed of children's games and flown scenery while monochrome sepia and purple and gold highlights. These vases made of a body and a separate pedestal, based on square bases of fine black marble, all together with an original mounting threaded rods. Tiny splinters a pedestal, lacks the beak of a swan, top vases ending with a flat unglazed suggests that there may be, originally, lids, possibly black marble like the based. (No evidence of subsequent grinding) Very fine decoration and gilding of great freshness. French work of the early nineteenth century, probably Parisien.
