"Commode Scriban In Mahogany Louis XV Period"
Exceptional chest of drawers forming scriban of early 18th century with double crossbow facade in massive mahogany. Opening on two large drawers and a fretted lid. The uprights are carved and carved, revealing reliefs and flowers in a style reminiscent of the Regency. The lower transom is sculpted and rests on superb curved arch feet. The flap is fretted and a beautiful carved molding gives it a beautiful relief. The interior reveals four drawers with double curves, two of which are helically shaped in the mass, framing a niche with a crossbow drawer with a secret system (see photo). Port furniture (Marseille) from the beginning of the 18th century, in an exceptional state. All locks are originated and function with their original key, even that of the drawer in the form of a crossbow which closes from below.
