Bronze statue depicting the goddess Apsara Anjanâ holding her child in her arms. Originally part of the Khmer Empire (Cambodia) and dating from the 18th century. The Apsaras were considered celestial nymphs. There were five of them, Anjana, the mother of Hanuman, the monkey god.
