Louis Fortuney (1875-1951) is a pastel painter who did the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Toulouse. He draws the daily newspaper initiated by Toulouse-Lautrec, Renoir, Gervex, Sisley. Anarchist he refuses to exhibit at the Salon. The Fortuney Foundation values its memory and its misunderstood works.
