Elegant early 20th century oil painting depicting two young children learning their lessons on a table. Painted by Henri Charles ANGENIOL (1870-1959), painter Lyonnais he made the fine arts of Lyon and Paris and worked at Gustave Moreau. Portraitist, he painted many ecclesiastical, he was a landscape painter, painted flowers and groups. It was the salon of the French artists in 1914. This original painting with a superb light, the tones are warm and we imagine very well the two girls working in this atmosphere where we discover the furnishings and the typical environment of the time. Table in perfect condition, in its original frame, signed bottom right.
