"Fernand Cian Sculpture XIXe Angelots Musicians"
An important sculpture at the beginning of the twentieth century, a terracotta group in the taste of the eighteenth, featuring musician angels, the ensemble resting on a molded base in gilded wood. Good general and original condition. Signed on the terrace Fernand Cian born in 1887 the sculptor Fernando Ciancianaini, known as Fernand Cian, works in Paris with Laporte-Blairsy, a pupil of Falguières. He exhibited eleven times at the Salon des Artistes français from 1907 to 1928 honorable mention in 1921. He develops a production of pastiches in the taste of the eighteenth century.
