Oil on canvas, still life with flowers and books on low wall, signed lower right Jules Geneste. Good condition, frame in stucco and gilded wood of XIXth century (small lack on top). Sun frame 87 x 72 cm, frame 50 x 65 cm GENESTE Jules - Libourne in 1826, Castillon-la-Bataille in 1889. Painter of marines and landscaper. The Guidargus of painting (1985) defines him as a scrupulous painter, attentive to all details. Salon des Amis des Arts from 1858 to 1859.
