"China Porcelain Table Service Party Period XVIIIth Century"
Porcelain table service part of the 18th century India Company, intended for the American market. It is composed of five pieces: two dishes, two openwork baskets and their displays, a vegetable and two hollow dishes and their bell. Decorated with bouquets of flowers and golden fillets, the marli are adorned with a blue stripes with foliage and four stars, typical decoration of the pieces executed for the United States. It is in good condition. The taking of one of the bells has been glued, light wear and tear of gold. (Porcelain of the Compagnie des Indes by Michel Beurdelay Page 136.)
