"Alexndre Kostanda, Pique-fleur At Décor Moucheté"
Kostanda's Pique-fleur, (1921-2006), one of the great artists of Vallauris. He started in 1936 at the Louis Giraud workshop in Vallauris, then during the war he was in Cluny and he was professor in Macon. He open his studio in Vallauris in 1948. He uses clay soil with a little sandstone, a memory of Burgundy. This speckled decoration is among the most sought after. Perfect condition for this sculptural pic-flower.
