Nice drawing with the pencil of lead with highlights of pencils and gouache figuring the delicate portrait of a young girl. Signed Chimot. Dated 1918. '' Chimot was a student of the School of Decorative Arts of Nice and then of the School of Fine Arts of Lille and who very early specialized in the representation of the feminine nude. [...] Other houses prefer the carton of prints to the book and Devambez appeals to Chimot to draw from these morbid feminine images where he excels on some psychoses or neuroses ...
