Beautiful watercolor, finely re-worn, representing a Turkish woman in traditional dress. A native of Vannes, unrelated to the Roux family of Marseilles, he made a great career in the navy by finishing at the rank of Admiral. He participated in the Salon from 1869 to 1870 with watercolors made during his travels.
Size: 10,5 x 16,2 cm without frame and 27,5 x 21,5cm with its frame in gilded modern wood.
