Beautiful drawing, finely realized, representing a mother and her child in Turkey.
A native of Vannes, unrelated to the Roux family of Marseilles, he made a great career in the navy by finishing at the rank of Admiral. He participated in the Salon from 1869 to 1870 with watercolors made during his travels.
Size: 10,5 x 16,2 cm without its frame and 27,5 x 21,5 cm with its modern golden frame
