Born the 4th of October 1879 in San Remo, Italy.
Dead the 29th of July 1970 in Paris.

Painter of landscape, urban landscapes, harbours landscape.
He learnt how to practice his art alone, on the French Riviera where he was raised. Then, he painted in a lot of areas in France, near Marseille, the Loing Valley, the Seine Valley, Chartres but above all, Parisian and Montmartrian views. He lived in Montmartre from 1938 till his Dead, a place where he got friendly with avant-garde artists such as Pablo Picasso, Jacques Villon, François Gall, Van Dongen, and Severini. One can find works of Merio Ameglio in many collections from the whole world.
