British pair of large framed prints of a gold rush, titled "THE RETURN" and "THE DEPARTURE". A painted by SOLOMON, engraved by WH SIMMONS, published April 4, 1857 in London by E GAMBART & Co., 25 Berners Street. Typical English engravings of Victorian's scenes combining characters of all ages in railway cars.
Great attention to details adorns these engravings.
