Sublime and very rare oil on canvas 65x81cm dated 1924 and signed Frank Watson WOOD (1862/1953) representing PARIS - The NOTRE DAME cathedral from the bridge St MICHEL. I do not know any other painting of this painter representing PARIS. FRANK WOOD began his career as an officer of ROYAL NAVY. He is considered as official painter of the ENGLISH MARINE since 1907.
