"Large Art Deco Vase Signed The French Glass"
Charles SCHNEIDER: vase with 'LAURIERS' decoration listed and created by the master glassmaker at the Art Deco period between 1924 and 1927, signed on the foot Le Verre Français Edition in Baluster-shaped multilayer glass paste with a large neck flared with an engraved honeycomb motif, the belly is animated with a violet-colored, acid-colored cameo decoration depicting four friezes of flowering branches on an orange and yellow white cloudy background, the lower part rests on a hot-formed pedestal. Decor with the typical Art Deco graphic listed on pages 127 and 136 of the book "- SCHNEIDER - THE FRENCH GLASS - CHARDER - by Marie Christine JOULIN and Gerold MAIER Weissner editions" It measures 35 cm high X 15 cm in diameter. Vase of very good quality, the colors are superb. IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.
