"Secretary, Louis XVI Period"
Small secretary with flap mahogany and mahogany veneer, marble top, Louis XVI period. Measurements. (H x W x D): 96 x 96 x 43 cm. Lower than usual, this small secretary flap measures only cm high. It is surmounted by a marble top that gives it the appearance of a furniture height support. The body is quadrangular, with sloping sides, punctuated with moldings running through the mahogany. The flap opens on a few shelves and two drawers, and, of course, only on a tray covered with morocco. The box surmounted two doors, which like all the furniture, are covered with beautiful mahogany leaves of Cuba. Late eighteenth century. Restored by our workshop.
