This animated landscape is inspired by the painting of Hubert Robert (1733- 1808), entitled Colonnade and Gardens of the Medici Palace, and Italian vedute of the eighteenth century. The composition is reversed compared to Hubert Robert's painting, some characters are missing, and the point of view has been enlarged. This suggests that the author of this painting is rather inspired by the engraving of Janinet, according to the work of Hubert Robert.
