"Renaissance Tapestry"
Tapestry panel called wood paneling. Royal Manufactures of the city of Brussels from the middle of the 16th century. The tapestry panel presented belongs to a hanging on the subject of the story of Cyrus. Here, it is the first panel having for register the meeting between Bouvier Mitradates (on the left) and General Harpagus (on the right). Wool and silk. Circa 1550. Expertise recently. Provenance: Castle in Burgundy.
