"Drawing Nineteenth "norman Village" Eugene Isabey"
Superb drawing in pencil representing a "lively Normand village" directed by Eugene ISABEY (1803-1886), famous French painter of the nineteenth known primarily for its marine but also its watercolors and drawings. He was given the discovery of Etretat where he settled and then he died at Honfleur around 1824, it is during this period that he made this drawing. Quality drawing, where we can see an annimated scene of characters and houses with collages. Signed EI bottom right, this drawing also includes a monogram probably a collection. Contemporary frame.
