Pair of candelabras in finely chased bronze with double patina, brown and gold, figuring Winged Victories holding 4 arms of light decorated with Fame (dragonfly wings).
They are based on spheres decorated with palm leaves and lotus leaves.
Cylindrical base chased with interlacing.
Square base with degrees. Model that can be attributed to GALLE, THOMIRE, RABIAT, CAFFIERI ? Bien qu'actuellement le bronzier n'ait pas pu être identifié, nous pouvons rapprocher ces candélabres aux travaux de Pierre-Philippe THOMIRE (1751-1843) et de Claude GALLE (1759-1815), tous 2 bronziers d'exception qui subvenaint aux commandes du Garde-Meuble et des Hauts-Dignitaires du pouvoir impérial.
