Engraving : Alexander I Emperor Of All Russians flag

Object description :

"Engraving : Alexander I Emperor Of All Russians"
After the heavy defeats inflicted by Russia on Napoleon I, Alexander I went to Paris in 1815 at the head of the Allied Armies and was paradoxically very well received by the Parisians who were passionate about the Russians and their Emperor.
This print dates from this time and was designed by Buguet after the work of Mademoiselle Le Brun.
Presented under marie-louise nets 38 X 25 cm to the view, it is dressed in a very pretty frame of the time to the beautiful gilding 48 X 35 cm (small accidents).
A small clear wetness on the bottom right.
