"3 XVIIIth Drawings : "landscapes Of Italy""
I chose to present these three drawings together because they visibly represent three aspects of the same landscape. In a mountainous site, buildings with flat roofs indicate a country where it rains little, probably Mediterranean, I think of Italy, some trees with tight foliage enliven the landscape in a small strokes that is reminiscent of Hubert Robert ... Probably kept in bad conditions, they present significant rednesses having practically burned the paper in the center of two of them, the framer having tried to mitigate this by some clumsy pencil strokes.
14 X 20 cm, 17 X 22 cm and 16.5 X 22 cm, the latter having no more glass.
The three are simply framed by a marie-louise cardboard and a sober black square baguette. Old inventory tags on two of them.
