"Louis XV Chest Of Drawers"
Commode Louis XV Grenoble XVIII °. It opens with 3 drawers curved crossbow, The tray is molded with beak of corbin and unhooked in the back characteristic of the work Grenoble. The front posts are rounded and decorated with carved acanthus leaf reserves and end with "crow's feet". The rear posts are wide and finished with curved legs. The lower cross is decorated in the center of a shell. The sides are molded with high cross in cocked hat. Drawers mounted with dovetail and nailed bottom (another mark of work Grenoble XVIII). Handles and original lock entries. Very good state of conservation, beautiful solid blond walnut, beautiful proportions. No doubt a work of the workshops of Jean François Hache but no label attesting its origin.
