Signed lower right: H. VERNET. Emile Jean Horace Vernet (1789-1863) is a painter of history, religious compositions and military subjects.
It is exhibited in many museums in France and abroad.

 Period: XIX Condition: Good condition of the drawing, the frame presents wear of use. Note: a crack on the window at the top left (see photo) Note: the drawing of a big size was composed on three shutters (see on photo arrow).
