"Pair Of Plates Tightrope, Nevers."
This rare and beautiful pair of plates is called "the tightrope walker". They date from the very beginning of the 19th century. On board each contour is adorned, in polychrome and in the center, of a tightrope walker walking on a rope stretched between two trestles. The wing is decorated with three broad lines, yellow and blue, surrounded by black nets. In excellent state of preservation, one or two tiny small égrenures are to report. Nevers early nineteenth century. Diameter: 22.7 cm.
