Portrait N III : Pierre Of Beaupuy

It is an inscription on the back of the chassis that gives us the identity of the model: Pierre de Beaupuy. This charming young man wears mustache and goatee "à l'impériale", fashion launched by Emperor NIII and sits in a relaxed attitude on a balcony columns protected from the sun by a canopy. He is holding a top hat whose reflection is a pendant to a gold vest chain.
Oil on canvas relined 41 X 32 cm, dressed with a beautiful golden frame 53 X 43 cm alternating stripes browned and amatia, unfortunately accidental on the periphery.
