Paul Michel DUPUY born March 24, 1869 in Pau (Pyrénées-Atlantiques) Died on November 2, 1949 in Paris. He was a student of Bonnat and Albert Maignan at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He exhibited at the salon of French artists from 1896 and without interruption until his death. He became a member in 1899. He wanted to be in the tradition. Trained at Academism. He had been touched by impressionism, loving to work on the outdoor motif, sensitive to the changing games of light. Its many views of the gardens of Paris, Luxembourg, the garden of acclimatization, green spaces as it was not said yet, are shared between the museums of Paris, Pau, Saint-Etienne, Bourges, Vierzon and many other cities.
