PAIR OF SUPERB NEW ART PLATES PORCELAIN PAINTED ** Signed G Péraudeau ** 1900 I think Limoges, perhaps for the Universal Exhibition of 1894 in Lyon. Here are two sumptuous dishes of the Art Nouveau period decorated with portraits of young women in a naturalistic entourage of flowers and vegetation. This is a beautiful model with decidedly Art Nouveau decor that characterizes this artistic movement. They are in very good condition, nevertheless it is to announce a tiny hair, difficult to notice, (of 3cm of long.) In bottom part of one of the dishes. Total weight: 1.450g / Diameter: 28.5cm
