Pair of Medici vases decorated with godrons of the Val d'Osne art foundry, cast iron and dating from the nineteenth. The art foundry of Val d'Osne was created in 1836 and quickly became the largest art foundry in France until their closure in 1986, they have designed the four large gilt bronze set that adorn the bridge Aleandre III in Paris, as well as the art nouveau surroundings of Hector Guimard's Paris metro.
