Elegant pair of fans of Napoleon III and XIXth style. They are fretwork and decorated on one side with various flowers and foliage accompanied by a bird and on the opposite side a small butterfly. all sets are on a black background, very characteristic of the time, they are maintained by a turned wooden handle and noici. Nice quality work in very good original condition.
