"Yuri-georges Tcherkessoff (1900-1943)"
Rare oil on canvas by the Russian artist Yuri (George) Tcherkessoff (1900-1943) recto verso, representing Cape Canaille in Cassis seen from the Revestel district. The work is framed, unsigned but comes from the dispersion of the artist's studio at Drouot in Paris, where a sale had taken place and all the works were acquired by the same person of Russian origin. Frameless format 53 cm by 71, and 77 cm by 95 cm single frame in white wood included. On the back, a pretty Pont des Arts in Paris.
