The box has 3 stages of instruments; On the upper floor, 14 steel instruments and ebony handles, with 1 closed compartment for small spare supplies containing steel suture needles;
On the lower floor, 10 steel instruments with ebony handles for 2 of them and a strap with its pads;
In the lid: 10 steel instruments and ebony handles and a small horn brush;
Each instrument is signed by its manufacturer "CHARRIERE à PARIS";
The box is complete and signed on its lock "Charrière in Paris"; it is engraved with the name of Dr. Reilhac on the brass plate.
