High quality work that many merchants and experts attribute to Jacob House. However, according to our research this model has never been realized by the Jacob workshops.
The Mobilier National keeps several copies of this set, with variants (some are not gilded but patinated or simply varnished), this is furniture sold between 1804-1806 by merchants merciers for various departments.
Condition Report: Restored in our workshop in 2018. Restoration of gilding and plates. Upholstered and garnished newly (with horsehair) with a yellow silk. Resumption of a tenon on an armchair, recovery of several rabbets, traces of old restorations.
