"Empire Bichaq Turkish Ottoman Knife Sterling Silver Damascene Iron XVIII"
Rare "Bichaq" knife with straight blade, silver damascus iron handle with vegetal motif decoration, wooden sheath covered with blue silk velvet and two solid silver trimmings (definitely Turkish dies), Ottoman Empire origin, d eighteenth century. This knife is in good condition, it is in its own juice. The two silver parts are hallmarked (see photos.) A note: the velvet is very worn (wood apparent in places), some shocks and bumps on the silver, dirt and wear of time, oxidation and snags on the blade, well look at the pictures.
