Object description :

"Games Table By Étienne Avril, Louis XVI Period"
Mahogany and veener mahogany table.
It rests on four tapered and fluted feet ending in simulated shoes in mahogany. It opens with a drawer in front and unfolds in a flap revealing a tray with a felt for the card game, in a beautiful frame elegantly molded.

Stamped E. Avril and JME (Jurande des Menuisiers Ébénistes).

Louis XVI period.

Étienne Avril will receive orders for Queen Marie Antoinette's apartment at Château de Saint-Cloud.
