"Terracotta Springer Mold"
Small mold presenting two characters dressed as peddlers; one, with boots and a heavy coat, carries a wicker basket on his shoulder and wears a large hat. Bearded as the first, the second carries an animal on his shoulder (a lamb?) And also has a big hat. This mold has been used since the Middle Ages in Germany, Switzerland (springerli) and here, alsace, delicious dry cakes with anise. today made using plastic molds, their tradition continues and everything will be counted if you go to the museum of folk arts of "the little stone" (67290) near Saverne..
