Smiling Girl's Face Bronze Signed flag

Object description :

"Smiling Girl's Face Bronze Signed"
Bronze made in France in the second half of the 1800s. The technique is that of lost wax, which consists in creating a clay mold on a wax mold then, after having released the wax, pour the molten bronze. The mold is then broken to recover the melt, which therefore is unique and not produced in series. The figure shown is the face of a smiling child. On the shoulder the signature "Péchin d'aprés Donatello" The fusion is separable from the red marble base, and presents within it a plaster cast with two holes which allows you to position it permanently on the two iron nails that come out of the base. The bronze has a beautiful brownish patina. Its height excluding the base is 35 cm
