Subject: Carved wood representing Ganesh, with his attributes is sitting on his rat. The sculpture is intaglio and almost circular in shape and resting on two support legs; all monobloc. Origin: India, Unknown Province. The work seems very old. The patina and appearance of the wood could attest that it is more than 100 years old.
