Large framed oil on canvas depicting a deer fight at the edge of a river. Executed at the end of the 18th century this scene is typical of the paintings that many followers of Oudry or Delafosse produced to furnish French castles and mansions. This painting comes originally from a castle in the Ploèrmel region (56). The canvas is to stretch and a tear to restore.
