"Two-tone Veneer Secretary"
Louis XVI secretaire in curly elm and amaranth veneer, carved in relief in the corners and topped with round relief motifs, the surround of which is amaranth (dark wood).
The projecting table-shaped uprights (flats with sharp angles) are enhanced with a light wood edge.
The sides are also executed in the two contrasting woods.
It opens with a drawer, a drop-leaf revealing a "cassetin" (box), and three drawers in the lower section.
It is upholstered in black leather enhanced with a gilded vignette.
White marble top.
