The painting is a copy of the famous painting that Guido Reni created for the chapel
of San Filippo Neri in the church of Santa Maria in Vallicella in Rome.
The saint is depicted in priestly clothes and in the gesture of adoration towards
the Virgin with child on the upper left, supported by some angels.
In the lower left the iconography of the lily.
Recanvasin the past it bears the signs of some restorations.
The nineteenth-century frame is in gilded wood and requires little restoration
The measures of the canvas are 102 cm wide and 140 cm high
