"Office Inkwell Marble And Bronze"
Office inkwell in green marble and gilded bronze .Reposing on four feet tops, a thick plate of green marble is carved on the front to place feathers and pencils, this cavity is lined with a gilded bronze rod, decorated with beads and crossed ribbons. At the back two bronze inkwells, closed by a hinged lid show a typical ornamention of the Louis XVI style, ovals, flutes and acanthus leaves.This object is in very good condition, only the reservoirs for the ink are later, one in glass the other enamelled sheet.
