Pair of Louis XV cabriolet armchairs in finely carved and lacquered wood decorated with flowers on the backrest and belt, resting on four elegantly curved legs, armrests rolling, stamp of the cabinetmaker NS Courtois * and Jurande JE, vintage 18th century. These armchairs are in their own juice and will be restored (garnish). They are stable. Signed below. A note: some accidents, wear and lacquer on the wood, the trim is torn and damaged and will be redone, look at the pictures. We put a similar chair for sale on this site. * Nicolas Simon Courtois (1724, master in 1766): parent of Jacques Marin Courtois, he worked rue de Charenton then rue de Charonne. Its activity will continue until the beginning of the Revolution. He left seats Louis XV and Transition but especially Louis XVI of good workmanship, with rigorous lines, molded decor or very discreetly carved.
