"Presentation Cabinet XVIIIth Century"
Early 18th century castle cabinet made of ash and curved ash loupe on the front and sides. The cocked hat cornice is surmounted on the central part of a large shell which is followed by a smaller one on the top transom. Carved and fretwork doors with molded sides with three panels. The interior of this presentation cabinet comes with 4 shelves, one of which with a row three drawers crossbow. Rounded uprights ending in carved snail and sleeping feet with foliage ornaments. There is also a beautiful original ironwork signed I. Pierre Varnez (see photos). Provincial work of Deux Sèvres, Regency period
