Rectangular in veneer of fruit wood, resting on 4 tapered legs, decorated with geometric friezes of a urn topped with a couple of birds.
The hinged lid is inlaid with a "AMC" encrypted bat wing rosette.
The interior is lined with a paper dominated blue background.
The back of the lid contains a mirror (small wear of time).
The interior compartment was built later.
French work around 1780.
