"Box Bronze And Bakelite"
Small rectangular jewelery box Gothic style carved and gilded bronze decorated with a child figure standing on foliage at the four corners. It is covered with a rich ornamentation of niellated bronzes with patterns of foliage. Enriched on all sides with Bakelite panels. The lid is surrounded by a slit. It opens on an interior wrapped in silk. It closes in frontage by a key. French Neogothic style work, 19th century.
