Scriban Provencal Walnut Desk, Eighteenth

Scriban chest with crossbow front in solid walnut. It opens with a flap and 3 drawers in the lower part. The flap discovers a box opening by a small door framed by two leaflets, nine small drawers and several compartments. The symmetrical interior particularly worked also has several secrets including the locking of a hatch and the concealment of a second. We also have 2 secret drawers. The flap with Maltese cross is on the inside floor. The sides, uprights and drawers are ornamented with generous concave and convex moldings. Two volute feet at the front and right at the back.
