Nice pen drawing enhanced with watercolor representing a visit of the Emperor Napoleon III to a regiment. Signature: SP for Septime The Pippre, painter of military subjects, born in Montfort l'Amaury in 1833, killed at the battle of Le Mans on January 22, 1871. French School. Some stains and lacks in watercolor, no rips. Old frame in pitchpin: 34 cm x 24 cm.
