"White Marble Sculpture "the Young Brodeuse" Signed On The Terrace Ugo Zannoni (1836-1898)"
superb and exceptional sculpture in white marble representing "a young embroiderer" signed on the terrace and dated 1878 located in Milan in perfect original condition .on a wooden seat blackened octagonal. Ugo ZANNONI (1836-1898), born in Verona, admitted to the Academy of Venice, first confronts painting before finally devoting himself to sculpture. Particularly virtuoso in the work of the Marble, he reaches a great delicacy of The statue of Dante Alighieri, commissioned by the Verona Academy of Science and Letters, is one of his greatest successes. today it is still on display in the Piazza dei signori in the historic center of Verona. exhibiting throughout Italy, the United States and Paris, he was appointed Knight of the Crown by King Victor Emmanuel II. ZANNONI donates some of his sculptures to the Achille Forti Modern Art Gallery in Verona inaugurated in 1938. in the pressing work
